Karachi, 20 February 2020: Today, under Article 4.7.1 * of the PCB Code against Anti Corruption, the Pakistan Cricket Board suspended Umar Akmal, meaning he can not be involved in any cricket-like activities pending the inquiry by PCB's Anti-Corruption Unit.
A replacement is allowed to join Umar's franchise, Quetta Gladiators. "The Participant shall be conveyed in writing by the Participant any decision to suspend the provisional stay, with a copy sent simultaneously to the ICC and, where appropriate, to the National Cricket Federation of the Participant."
