In the opening ceremony, at Karachi's national stadium, 350 artists performed before the opening ceremony. The ceremony was enriched with stunning performances from thousands of fans around the stadium and millions of others around the globe, as well as world renowned artists such as Abar-ul-Haq, Aima Baig, Abu Mohammad, Fareed Ayaz, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Sajjad Ali, Sanam Marvi and the Rock Band Soch.
Pakistan's national anthems started the opening ceremony, with a fireworks followed by Pakistan's national anthems, which lifted the whole stadium. The National Cricket Stadium was illuminated to host an opening ceremony for the stars.
